Life outside of my happy bubble has been a bit of a challenge lately. Like almost comically challenging...is this real? Am I actually in some crazy reality TV show? (if so please let me win the million dollars?)
But! You know what counteracts all the bad stuff?
Ponies.
(And G, plus possibly also chocolate and tacos and sunshine and gardening)
But for the purpose of this blog, ponies. Ponies living their absolute best lives on the first day of summer field turnout.
These are lovely. They are all so so shiny!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to take credit for the shine and dapples but I think it's just good pony genes!
DeleteI spy two boys looking bigger than Sophie!
ReplyDelete3 ponies and 2 humans means I lead the pair of them and husband leads Sophie. The horses were so excited when they saw we were going to their big field (polite but the whole snorty prancy thing happening), my husband was all "Wow Sophie is very powerful" I was like "you have no idea" It feels like the boys are twice the size since I last attempted leading them both together last fall lol. Vet is coming next Wednesday for annual checkups so we'll get official weights and heights then!
DeleteSorry life outside the paddock paradise is causing you grief. Thank heavens for ponies living their best life.
ReplyDeleteI question my sanity having three horses, but watching them running around happily being horses on a nice spring day sure makes the world a nicer place.
DeleteThat's a good list of things that spark joy. Ponies and chocolate and tacos and sunshine (FINALLY) and gardening. I'm gonna tack on chickens to the list, although they may make the gardening a little harder... There's nothing like watching the ponies gallop joyfully to bring a smile to our faces.
