By coincidence, our virtual adventure has us in Vancouver this week:
It looks so real, right? lol, thanks to Paint we can paste Bridget anywhere! |
My ride last night was OK, not as good as in my lesson, obviously. Left to my own devices I struggle a little with knowing what is on me and what is on Ms Bridget and am a little more uncertain about any corrections. If I hadn't had such a wonderful lesson the day before I would be saying yesterday was our best ride ever, but now I'm addicted and chasing the feel from that lesson :)
What will you guys be doing at the clinic? I had no idea they had anything like that open to the public
ReplyDeleteMy coach just sent out the invite yesterday so I signed up on her recommendation on it being useful for us and am vague on the details. It's being labelled as a desensitization clinic, and a short version of the training the police horses go through, so we'll see!
DeleteI can't WAIT to hear about that clinic!
ReplyDeleteI think it's going to be fun!
Deleteooooh that's super exciting! and what a great idea for getting her accustomed to oddities while traveling! we've had some mounted police units come to our farm for obstacle challenges and while i've never participated it looks like a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteBridget looks right at home in Vancouver ;)
ReplyDeleteThe police clinic sounds AWESOME! Can't wait to hear all about it.
ReplyDeleteAlso - I struggle big time with the what's me v. what's him and what sort of correction should I take. Sometimes it's obvious, but a lot of times it's a shade of grey.
Can't wait to hear about the clinic. I wonder if the Toronto mounted unit offers that.
