And it just wasn't B's day, BUT that doesn't mean you both aren't improving! Hang in there, horses definitely aren't for the faint of heart!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8359915651309786241.post-52235877095597884682016-12-02T08:27:35.067-08:002016-12-02T08:27:35.067-08:00These guys are NOT easy to ride - they have their ...These guys are NOT easy to ride - they have their "Forcefield" and when they don't wanna... they put up the forcefield and there isn't much you can do to muscle them out of it! You have seriously come a lot further with B than many people would, so hang onto that! The more trained she gets the less frequent her outbursts will be. I find that changing things up all the time and changing the subject when they're having a meltdown really helps a lot - these smart ponies get OFFENDED when we try to do the same thing over and over again! She is a really, really cool partner for you, and I know you two will achieve a lot - even if it doesn't happen in quite the same way as it would with a "normal" horse. :) Alli + Dinohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06928482808436392040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8359915651309786241.post-3198066914782514162016-12-02T07:41:05.565-08:002016-12-02T07:41:05.565-08:00c'mon Bridge!! glad she at least started softe...c'mon Bridge!! glad she at least started softening and trying. also i love that exercise and want to try it!!emmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05686949099663199382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8359915651309786241.post-76297537380990008902016-12-01T21:37:55.823-08:002016-12-01T21:37:55.823-08:00I always get really down on myself when I have a b...I always get really down on myself when I have a bad ride too :( I also don't think pony attitude ever really goes away but now that Katai has been under saddle as long as she has she's realizing that sometimes it's just easier to go along with this harebrained idea.
